My wife Rei and I went on a company trip together, as it was for married couples. But there were no other married couples, just the president and two employees. We headed to the inn with an indescribable sense of unease. I was sucked in by the president, who was even more mischievous than usual, and was defeated. But before I knew it, Rei had become friendly with the other people. I felt relieved to see that, but I felt a strange sense of discomfort about her being so close to everyone.
